Slippery, slimy, small.
Swimming through the water,
With a long, sleek, tail pushing him ahead.
It's body slowly morphs,
Growing a pair of legs to follow,
And help it along.
Then new legs appear after,
But something has to be given up.
The tail soon falls off,
And fades into nothingness.
